Questions about your sofa delivery? We answer them all, including delivery costs, timescales, and preparing for delivery.
Our standard delivery charges are as follows:
Sofas - £99.00
Sofas (Saturday delivery, subject to availability in your area) - £109.00
Dining and sideboards - £99.00 (if pre-assembled)
Dining and sideboards (Saturday delivery, subject to availability in your area) - £109
Dining and sideboards (assembled by ScS crew on delivery) - £129.00
Dining and sideboards (full assembly) - £159.00
Rugs - £25.00
Please note: For some remote locations, a higher delivery charge may be applicable. Please speak to your salesperson who will be able to confirm this for you.
If you have ordered multiple items, they may be delivered separately, however, you will only be charged once for delivery. In this case, the highest delivery fee will apply. For example, if you were to order a sofa and a rug, you would be charged £99 for delivery.
If you paid for your order in full by credit or debit card in store, you can arrange to collect your order in person from store. Please ask your sales advisor for more information about this option. If you opted for interest-free credit, or buy now pay later offers, only home delivery is available.

You will be able to monitor the progress of your order and track the estimated delivery date by signing in or creating an Account online.
The evening before delivery, you will receive a reminder text message and an email detailing a timeslot.
On the day of delivery, you will receive a link that will let you track your driver, narrow down the timeslot and also provide you with the names of the delivery crew!
It’s worth remembering that the timeslot is only an estimate and sometimes can be affected by circumstances outside of our control such as traffic delays.
In preparation for the delivery crew arriving, please ensure that access to the room your furniture will be placed in is clear, as well as the space where your furniture will go. This will allow the delivery team to deliver your furniture carefully, quickly and easily.
The majority of our products are made to order and the approximate lead times can vary. As with all handmade products, we advise that the delivery period could be up to 4 weeks earlier or later than the lead time given at the point of sale.
If we do experience any delays outside of this 4 week leeway we will contact you to provide a new estimated delivery date.

We strongly recommend that you do not dispose of any of your existing furniture until you have a confirmed delivery date from us.
When you place your order online or in-store, you will be given an estimated delivery date which will also be confirmed on your invoice.
The estimated arrival to retailer (or estimated receipt) date that is shown on your sales order document is the date that the supplier has told us your furniture will arrive at your nearest ScS distribution centre. This is not a confirmed date for delivery to your address. For this reason, we ask that you do not dispose of any of your current items until we have confirmed your delivery date to you.

We will always ask you what the earliest date is you can take your delivery.
Whilst your ScS furniture order is being carefully handmade to your requirements, you will be able to monitor the progress of your order and track the estimated delivery date by logging in or creating an Account online.
We do our utmost to ensure that the estimated arrival date is accurate, but occasionally a delay may occur. We will keep you updated every step of the way!
We will contact you by email or text whenever there is a further update to your order. If there any changes to your email address or mobile number on your account, be sure to let us know so we can continue to keep you updated.
As soon as we have a date that your furniture is arriving into our distribution centre, we will confirm a delivery date to you by text and email.
Should the booked delivery date not be suitable, our specialist delivery team will be on hand to help. Our distribution centre space is limited, so although we may be able to accommodate changing your delivery date by one or two days, we are unable to hold on to your furniture for any longer than that.
We understand that not everyone can take time off to wait in for their order to be delivered, which is why we deliver six days a week between 7am and 7pm, including a premium Saturday Delivery service.

We are pleased to offer a premium Saturday delivery service (subject to availability in your area), so you can take delivery of your order at a time that is best suited to you.
Should the booked delivery date not be suitable, our specialist delivery team will be on hand to help. Our distribution centre space is limited, so although we may be able to accommodate changing your delivery date by one or two days, we are unable to hold on to your furniture for any longer than that.
Unfortunately, if we haven’t been informed that you can’t take delivery and nobody is home to accept your order, we may have to charge you the cost of taking your furniture back to our distribution centre.

It is very important that someone is home to take delivery of your order on the agreed delivery date, between 7am-7pm.
If we are unable to deliver your order to you, there will be an additional charge to take your products back to our warehouse and arrange redelivery. Please see charges below:

We do not offer a delivery service to off-shore UK islands, but we can arrange to deliver your order to a reliable courier who will then deliver it to your home. This will need to be arranged independently and may carry an additional delivery charge, which will be agreed upon at the point of purchase.
Please note:If for any reason you need to return your order, this will be your responsibility and at your own expense to return it to the mainland.
Whilst most sofas go into homes easily, we always advise that you carefully check all dimensions of your chosen sofa, before making a purchase to ensure that your new sofa can fit through any doors, hallways and stairways when delivered. We also ask that you let us know of any issues with access that our delivery team may have when you purchase your furniture.
Many of our sofas will be delivered in separate sections that can be assembled in your home for ease of delivery.
However, sometimes occasions can arise whereby your furniture does not fit when delivered. If we can get into the property but not in the room of choice, alterations may have to be made to allow access, for example taking off doors for a wider walkway.

Many charities offer a free collection service for old furniture where you select a time and date best suited to you. Alternatively, your local council can arrange for old furniture to be collected and disposed of, or recycled properly.
Yes.
Before your agreed delivery date, please ensure to clear the space where your new sofa will be placed. This will help our delivery team to deliver your sofa carefully, quickly and easily.
