Celebrating 130 years of ScS

Since our humble beginnings in 1894 as a small family-owned home furnishings store in Sunderland, ScS has now established themselves as a leader in the UK marketing selling sofas, flooring and furniture across the length and breadth of the country’s high streets and retail parks, as well as online.

Our community

We've partnered with the housing and homelessness charity Shelter to support their efforts to emphasise the importance of home - something that is close to our hearts at ScS too. 

Together with Shelter, we are striving to ensure that everyone has access to a secure and comfortable place to call home. We’re proud to be partnering in their efforts to bring this security to people and communities all across the country.

Closer to home, we're proud to support St Oswald's Hospice and The Stadium of Light in the North East through various sponsorships and initiatives throughout the year.
