Suite Centre Sunderland commenced trading in Sunderland as a family-owned general home furnishings store.

1993

Expanded outside of the North East, and began operating from larger and more modern stores in out of town retail park locations.

2012

Flooring products were added to our offering and we rebranded to ‘Sofa Carpet Specialists’.

Today

With over 100 stores from Aberdeen to Plymouth we offer sofas, flooring and furniture for great value and quality.

Since our humble beginnings in 1894 as a small family-owned home furnishings store in Sunderland, ScS has now established themselves as a leader in the UK marketing selling sofas, flooring and furniture across the length and breadth of the country’s high streets and retail parks, as well as online.

We've partnered with the housing and homelessness charity Shelter to support their efforts to emphasise the importance of home - something that is close to our hearts at ScS too.
